I'm WAY TOO OLD for this shit

Can someone remind me that I'm too old to be going out and drinking late on weeknights? Especially when I then have to get up at 6:50 AM the next morning? Please?

*groan*

*sigh*

*whine*

At least it was fun... *grin*

My husband, my friend Coco, her friend Joe and I went to the Mixer on the Mall downtown last night after work. I had a beer (Arcadia Whitsun) and two Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonades. Then part of Coco's beer that she didn't want. Part of my husband's cranberry lemonade that he didn't want to finish. Possibly some other sips of various other drinks in there.

It was a good time.

I saw two people from my work: one of my favorite co-workers, and my boss. Yes, the one I flashed yesterday. By the time I saw him, though, I was good and liquored up, so I didn't even remember to be embarrassed. *grin*

I also saw two people from high school...one of which I consider a friend, and the other was just "this girl I went to high school with." Then I said hi to a woman who looks familiar, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where I know her from. I'm thinking a class? Maybe last semester? I'm not even sure. Damn my Alzheimer’s!

After the Mixer on the Mall, we then proceeded to the Olde Peninsula Brew Pub (aka OP), where I consumed yet another beer, and some excellent munchie type stuff. I think I said, "I am SO drunk" about 47 times at least. Then we went on to Wayside. Good times, good times.

This morning when I got out of bed, I think I was still slightly drunk. Oops. That's never a good thing.

I'm still moving kind of slow, and my brain is slightly fuzzy. At least I only have to work today, and then it's a THREE DAY WEEKEND!

Yes folks, I actually get the 4th of July off this year. Praise God! And holidays that fall on Fridays for a change! Hooray!

Have a spectacular 4th, people!
