TIRED!

*wake up suddenly*

"Wha?!?"

Dear God, I'm tired this morning. Seriously tired. TheChild's mom dropped her off at 5:30 this morning, and the child refused to go back to sleep. I think I got about 15 minutes of sleep between 5:30 and 6:58 or so, when I got up.

Then I was getting ready in the bathroom this morning, and I saw a little person standing outside the bathroom, peering in through the crack. I opened the door and said "Hi! Are you going to sleep anymore?"

She said "No. Where's my dad?"

I said "He's still in bed, sleeping."

"Why?"

"Because it's really early and he's tired."

"Oh. I found this [comb] in my toy box!"

Then she started in with the questioning about the number of toothbrushes we had and which ones were whose.

It was interesting getting ready this morning.

Thank God it's Friday.

Unfortunately, the fact that it's Friday also means that today is the last day of the Bitch From Hell's vacation.

*sniff, sniff*

Okay. I'm going to totally dread coming into work next week. I've enjoyed actually looking forward to my work day, instead of seeing it as something I would like to get through as quickly as possibly so I can escape to the peace and quiet of my house.

Ah, oh well.
