Word of the Day

I'm currently watching the MSNBC special, "The Decider: A Hardball Documentary with Chris Matthews" that we taped earlier this evening. Really, all I can say is "Gah. Damn." It's REALLY sad that despite the amount of absolutely shitty happenings during the time of the Bush administration that this special is reporting on, I know of about three times as much stuff that most people wouldn't even have heard about before.*

The Word of the Day goes pretty much like this:

1. "DOUCHE!!" - said approximately once every minute

2. "Fuckface!" - said approximately once every 10 minutes

3. "Fucktard!" - said once so far, but it's only about 15 minutes into it

4. "Lying douchebag!" - said way too often.

GAH.

*For instance, his tendency to reward his friends with positions that in no way reflect their actual experience or have anything to do with anything they've ever done in their lives. (e.g. Michael D. Brown being appointed the director of FEMA after he served as the Judges and Stewards Commissioner for the International Arabian Horse Association for 12 years - a position from which he was actually forced to resign. Yes, let's totally put that guy in charge of coordinating multiple agencies in the wake of a natural disaster. Hooray, cronyism!)

January 20th can not come soon enough for me...
