Better than yesterday

Ugh, I'm SO happy that it's Friday! WOO!

My officemate is gone today, and I think I'm getting more work done today than I do when she's here. By 8:50 AM I had done the downloads (her duty); printed off the audit trail; the price sheet (her duty); the YTD Total Return sheet (my duty); appointment files for 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM (either of us); printed off a list of transactions that occured last night, and are related to our big project; and a file that my boss needed this morning. Since then, I've continued to bust ass and get shit done.

What sort of sucks is that I dreamt of work most of last night, and feel like I'm being somewhat screwed, since I already did most of the files on my desk in my dream. It feels like I've got to do things TWICE. I hate that. Oh well.

At least today appears to be a better day than yesterday. AND, at least the pants I put on this morning actually were able to be zipped and buttoned. That's always a plus. *grin*

My thoughts are still on money and time (or lack thereof), but at least things seem slightly better than they were yesterday. (This could simply be due to the fact that I have more than $40 total in all my bank accounts, unlike yesterday.) I also think we're getting another bonus at some point soon. We've now transferred a little over $22.5 million. Whoo hoo!

I've got 4 files on my desk that need to have paperwork done so they can be sent to the client and signed, which will increase our total.

Things are as good as they could be, I guess.

And this weekend will be spent playing with TheChild and trying to get a few things done around the house. Hopefully it will be laid-back and relaxing.
